Job summary

Mason Alexander is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to join a growing security team in Ireland. You will help protect the business from today's evolving cyber threats, focusing on threat detection, cloud security, incident response, and automation using cutting-edge technologies.

You will build and optimize detection capabilities, secure cloud environments, investigate incidents, automate workflows, and mentor colleagues while maturing our security operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cybersecurity engineering or security operations.
• Hands-on use of SIEM/EDR platforms and cloud security.
• Scripting or automation skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash) a plus.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, GIAC highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize SIEM, SOAR, and EDR detection capabilities.
• Secure Azure, AWS, and GCP environments.
• Investigate complex security incidents and improve response.
• Automate security workflows and improve operational efficiency.
• Design and implement robust security controls.
• Partner with IT, Cloud, and DevOps to embed security by design.
• Mentor colleagues and help mature our security operations.
