Drive end-to-end programme delivery for Hyperscale Data Centre builds and upgrades from initiation through implementation, across design engineering, procurement, and operations. Lead the coordination of technical reviews between engineering teams, suppliers, and Architect/Engineer (AE) / Engineer of Record (EoR) firms, ensuring that all design and compliance documentation is progressed to AE/EoR sign-off while client maintains governance, schedule, budget, safety, and quality standards.
Location
Remote or Hybrid with travel to European client sites as required. Locations include Dublin, Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Portugal and the Nordics.
Key Responsibilities
1) Technical Review Orchestration
- Plan, run, and document the multi-disciplinary technical review cadence (MEP, controls, networking, structural, fire, safety) across engineering, key suppliers, and AE/EoR; maintain issue/action logs through to closure and track readiness for AE/EoR endorsement and signature.
- Coordinate technical document reviews and approvals between client, suppliers, and AE/EoR.
- Ensure all design packages, RFIs, submittals, change bulletins and compliance artifacts are routed promptly and meet programme SLAs to unblock design approvals and keep the critical path intact.
- Manage portfolios of DC programs involving multiple stakeholders (Engineering, Procurement, Networking, Operations).
- Own integrated schedules, risks, dependencies, and KPIs; drive delivery on time, to budget, and to quality; provide executive-ready status, risk/decision logs, and portfolio reports.

- Support contractor and vendor procurement strategy (e.g., design & build, EPC, or construction management routes) in coordination with the Procurement & Cost Manager.
3) Quality, Compliance & Document Governance
- Enforce client standards and document lifecycle controls (templates, revisions, approvals); maintain audit-ready records of technical decisions and AE/EoR-signed deliverables.
- Partner with safety, legal, and compliance to ensure designs and changes meet jurisdictional codes and client policies; support root cause / lessons learned and continuous improvement.
4) Data-Driven Delivery & Tooling
- Use respective data tools to manage workflows, artefacts, and reporting.
- Use KPIs and performance metrics to drive quality, cost, and schedule delivery.
- Improve tools/processes in DC delivery and orchestrate program processes across dispersed teams.
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction/Project Management, or related; 4-8+ years in technical/program management on large-scale infrastructure (Data Centre or mission-critical preferred).
- Proven track record managing cross-functional, cross-company programmes and technical reviews with external engineering firms and vendors.
- Demonstrated familiarity with MEP systems, networking infrastructure, and design/construction processes; ability to translate technical issues into programme impacts and decisions, and awareness of relevant industry standards (Uptime Institute, ASHRAE, NFPA, ISO).
- Strong commercial awareness, with a solid understanding of budget and cost control principles, and ability to meet related screening requirements for DC roles.
- Applicants must have the legal right to live and work in the European Union and be able to provide evidence of their work authorization if requested.
Preferred
- Experience working with AE/EoR delivery models, RFIs/submittals, design bulletins, and change-control workflows.
- Familiarity with energy/power interfaces (utility/substation/transmission) is a plus.

- PMP or PRINCE2 for programme governance; Lean/Six Sigma for process improvement
