Job summary

Nicoll Curtin is seeking a Lead Technical Product Manager in Dublin on a 12-month contract with hybrid working. You will shape the strategy and delivery of technical products in a global payments environment.

The ideal candidate has deep API and platform services expertise, strong cross‑functional leadership, and can translate business needs into technical requirements for engineering, architecture and security teams. Stakeholder management and cross‑team influence are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in technical product management, ideally within payments/fintech/banking or financial services.
• Strong understanding of APIs, platform services, system integrations and technical product development.
• Experience defining product strategy, managing roadmaps and prioritising complex technical initiatives.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and work effectively with engineering teams.
• Experience working in Agile environments, managing backlogs and supporting end-to-end product delivery.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive product strategy, vision and roadmap in alignment with business objectives.
• Lead the development and delivery of technical products, platforms and API-based solutions.
• Translate business requirements into clear product requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Partner with engineering and architecture teams to evaluate technical solutions, system design and implementation trade-offs.
• Manage product backlogs, prioritisation and release planning to ensure successful delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, security, operations, compliance and business stakeholders.
• Monitor product performance, define success metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Communicate product priorities, progress, risks and outcomes to senior stakeholders.
