Job summary

Ethos is seeking a Senior Project Engineer – Structural based in Dublin. You will lead structural design delivery across substantial project packages, manage client and architect relationships, and guide teams to meet technical and delivery milestones. This is a hybrid role with three days in the office.

You will oversee planning, risk, and quality, while mentoring engineers and ensuring design integrity for data centres and infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering is required.
• Chartered Engineer status (IStructE/Engineering Ireland/ICE) is required.
• Proven ability to coordinate and deliver complex design packages with teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and delivery of complex structural design packages across 2–3 projects.
• Direct and review work by engineers and technicians, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Use structural analysis and design software (SCIA Engineer, CADS) and coordinate with design teams.
• Resolve design and coordination challenges with independent technical judgement.
• Manage delivery against scope, programme and quality expectations, including change control.
• Engage with clients and architects, attend meetings, present updates and decisions.
• Report on project progress to management.
• Carry out site visits across Europe to monitor works for progress and quality.
• Coach developing engineers and promote consistent technical standards.
• Champion safe design and regulatory compliance.
