Job summary

Ethos Engineering Ltd in Dublin is seeking a Senior Engineer - Civil / Infrastructure to lead civil design across complex buildings and data centre projects. Based in Dublin with hybrid working, you will manage a team, liaise with architects, attend client meetings, and report progress to management.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, 5+ years of experience, and strong project management and communication skills. Travel across Europe is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in designing and delivering civil aspects of engineering projects.
• Irish or UK project experience, with knowledge of local standards and practices.
• Experience on data centre projects is a plus; experience on complex buildings or infrastructure projects is an acceptable alternative.
• Chartered status is advantageous; the company will actively support you in achieving this status.
• Experience in international projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Carry out design calculations to deliver the civil aspects of projects, including storm water management and SUDS design.
• Manage a team of engineers and technicians to deliver the civil aspects of projects.
• Liaise with architects and other design team members.
• Attend client meetings and present updates and deliverables to clients.
• Report on project progress to management.
• Visit sites throughout Europe and monitor progress and quality of works.
• Use Autodesk Civil 3D to develop, modify and manage civil engineering design models, drawings and documentation in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
