Job summary

Ethos in Ireland seeks a Senior Project Mechanical Design Engineer with 10+ years' experience to lead the mechanical building services for data centre projects across the EMEA region. You will oversee projects from concept to handover, mentor engineers, and ensure QA standards before client delivery.

The role is hybrid in Ireland with attendance at the Dublin office. You will build client relationships, manage multiple projects, and contribute to shaping a sustainable, high‑impact data centre

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of mechanical design experience.
• Professional qualification required.
• Experience leading data centre mechanical design projects across EMEA.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and workload of team members to optimise productivity.
• Guide decision-making across discipline areas to deliver tailored solutions.
• Develop strong client relationships to meet expectations.
• Understand contract terms to control scope creep and maintain project integrity.
• Delegate tasks strategically to maximise value and engagement.
• Report progress to Group Management to ensure transparency.
• Manage quality control within projects to meet established standards.
• Engage in resource management to optimise project execution.
• Promote a positive message to enhance team morale.
