Job summary

Ethos Engineering is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to oversee ME services for projects across the EMEA region with a focus on Ireland. You will manage the full lifecycle from concept to handover, mentor staff, and ensure QA before handover.

Proficiency in CIBSE, ASHRAE, BS, IS and EN standards, plus AutoCAD, REVIT, Bluebeam and MS Office, is essential. You will play a pivotal role in delivering mission-critical infrastructure, collaborating with clients and the design team, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years' experience with Data Centres, Industrial, High Tech, Commercial and/or Healthcare projects.
• Deep understanding of CIBSE, ASHRAE, BS, IS and EN standards.
• Working knowledge of Bluebeam, AutoCAD and REVIT.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical services design on projects from concept to completion.
• Specification and design of mechanical building services systems.
• Continuous design and installation quality checks and control.
• Provide detailed tender packages, tender reports, analyses and recommendations.
• Uphold the mechanical design standards within the organisation.
• Collaborate with the design team and clients to develop project scopes.
• Capable of leading projects with minimal input from management.
• Mentor and guide engineering staff.
