Job summary

Ethos is seeking a Senior Engineer - Civil / Infrastructure in Dublin for a hybrid role. You will carry out design calculations, lead a team of engineers and technicians, and coordinate with architects and other design team members on complex buildings and infrastructure projects, including data centres.

You will travel across Europe to monitor progress and ensure quality, with three days in the office and strong emphasis on project management, communication, and delivering results within tight

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years’ experience designing and delivering civil aspects of engineering projects.
• Irish or UK project experience with knowledge of local standards and practices.

Responsibilities

• Carry out design calculations to deliver civil aspects of projects (stormwater, SUDS).
• Manage a team of engineers and technicians to deliver civil works.
• Liaise with architects and design team members.
• Attend client meetings and present updates to clients.
• Report project progress to management.
• Visit sites across Europe to monitor progress and quality of works.
• Use Civil 3D and related tools to develop design models and drawings.
