Job summary

Ethos Engineering Ltd in Dublin is seeking a Senior Engineer – Structural to lead a team delivering structural designs for complex buildings and data centres. You will work with architects and engineers, coordinating calculations, models, and documentation to ensure quality and timelines.

The role requires 5+ years in structural engineering, strong Eurocode knowledge, and openness to travel across Europe. Based in Dublin with hybrid work three days in office.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• At least 5 years’ experience in Structural Engineering with knowledge of Civil Engineering.
• Irish or UK project experience with local standards.
• Experience on data centre projects is a plus; or complex buildings/infrastructure.
• Chartered status is advantageous; company supports progression.

Responsibilities

• Carry out structural calculations and analysis for projects.
• Manage a team of engineers and technicians to deliver on time and budget.
• Use CADS, SCIA and Revit; collaborate with design teams.
• Liaise with architects and other design team members.
• Attend client meetings and present updates and deliverables.
• Report progress to management.
• Carry out site visits across Europe to monitor works.
