Jobgether is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - GraphAware Hume, based in Ireland, with a remote-first setup. You will shape the core intelligence of a graph-powered analytics platform, building scalable APIs and secure systems across distributed teams.

The role emphasizes ownership from design to deployment, collaboration with data scientists and product specialists, and opportunities to apply graph technologies, cloud-native engineering, and AI-driven capabilities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of backend experience in large-scale or complex apps.
• Strong Java, with Clean Architecture, DDD, and TDD.
• Deep knowledge of Spring for secure, modular APIs.
• Relational data modeling with PostgreSQL; graph data modeling is a plus.
• Experience with CI/CD, Docker, and automated deployment workflows.
• Security-minded development with OWASP practices.
• Excellent remote collaboration and communication in distributed teams.
• Ability to influence technical direction and own projects end-to-end.
• Familiarity with graph tech such as Cypher/Neo4j; event-driven architectures (Kafka) is beneficial.
• Exposure to cloud-native development, observability, performance tuning; AI/ML integration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend APIs for graph analytics and data interaction.
• Design secure, scalable access-control systems for sensitive data.
• Build and orchestrate graph analytics workflows and real-time insights.
• Optimize performance and reliability with engineers across the team.
