Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior AI Platform Engineer based in Ireland to design and build the foundation for secure, production-grade AI applications. You will shape platform capabilities, data pipelines, and developer tooling to scale AI across teams.

This remote role combines hands-on work with LLMs, RAG, vector search, and enterprise integrations. You will collaborate with Engineering, Product, and IT to establish patterns, governance, and reusable AI components for a distributed organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data/platform/backend engineering or similar, with production systems.
• Proficient in Python and SQL.
• Experience with LLMs, generative AI, and AI workflows.
• Knowledge of security, data governance, and access controls.

Responsibilities

• Design and build reusable platform capabilities for LLM apps, agents, RAG, and workflows.
• Develop scalable data and knowledge pipelines including embeddings, retrieval, and vector search.
• Create secure integrations between AI apps, enterprise data, and business systems.
• Develop libraries, SDKs, and tooling to empower engineering teams with AI products.
