Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company in Ireland, seeks an experienced Solution Architect for Data & AI Platform to lead architecture across data, AI, governance, and platform engineering. The role emphasizes Databricks Lakehouse, LLM-enabled analytics, RAG, semantic layers, and metadata intelligence.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in solution or data architecture roles.
• Experience with modern data platforms, especially Databricks, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog.
• Knowledge of lakehouse architecture, governance, metadata management, data products, and semantic modeling.
• Practical knowledge of AI/GenAI architecture patterns including LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector search, semantic search, model serving, grounding, and AI evaluation.
• Experience enabling agentic AI workflows for data discovery, lineage, quality, documentation, troubleshooting, or platform operations.
• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with modern data ecosystems.
• Experience with CI/CD for data and AI platform development and deployment.
• Ability to design secure and scalable architectures balancing innovation, governance, performance, and maintainability.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive Data and AI platform architecture using Databricks and lakehouse patterns.
• Develop scalable patterns for AI-ready data products and governed analytics.
• Architect LLM and Generative AI capabilities including RAG, embeddings, and model serving.
• Design agentic AI workflows for data discovery, lineage, and quality.
• Enable AI-assisted documentation, troubleshooting, and automated tests.
• Establish standards for governed data products, metrics, and semantic layers.
• Integrate metadata intelligence and semantic context into AI analytics.
• Deploy scalable data and AI patterns across the platform securely.
• Collaborate with engineering, data, AI, and business stakeholders.
• Promote CI/CD and automation for reliable delivery.
