Job summary

PayPal Ireland is seeking an experienced sales professional to own complex SMB acquisition opportunities from qualification through negotiation and close. You will develop tailored onboarding and commercial propositions for higher-value merchants and oversee forecast accuracy.

You will mentor junior team members, prioritise leads by margin and readiness, and collaborate with partners to drive cross-functional improvements within a balanced hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• 3+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex acquisition opportunities from qualification through negotiation and close.
• Prioritise leads using expected transaction margin and merchant readiness.
• Develop tailored onboarding and commercial propositions for high-value merchants.
• Maintain reliable forecasts and mentor team members.
• Ensure smooth handoff of new merchants to Account Management.
