Job summary

GitLab is seeking a Staff Renewals Operations Manager to own the renewal engine at scale within CX Operations. This senior individual contributor role has no direct reports and emphasizes ownership, cross-functional influence, and data-driven improvements.

You will own the end-to-end renewal operating model, develop renewal cadences, and partner with Revenue Technology, Revenue Analytics, Finance, and Salesforce to improve data flows, tooling, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in Renewals Operations or Revenue Operations with cross-functional ownership.
• Hands-on renewal forecasting and retention reporting experience.
• Strong analytical skills; proficient in Excel/Sheets; SQL knowledge preferred.
• Salesforce experience for pipeline and renewals reporting.
• Commercial judgment and understanding of renewal complexities.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end renewal operating model and data hygiene.
• Improve renewal cadences for efficiency.
• Define and evolve retention reporting with cross-functional partners.
• Collaborate with Revenue Tech, Analytics, Finance to improve Salesforce data flows.
• Automate renewal motions and standardized workflows.
• Support renewal planning, capacity management, segmentation.
• Manage Renewal Operations case-management program.
• Document processes and contribute to Revenue Ops initiatives.
