Job summary

Croft Recruitment Limited in Ireland seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage cost control, budgeting, tendering and contract management across large-scale construction projects. You will work with project teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and reporting to senior management.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in QS/Construction Management and at least 5 years of experience, with strong negotiation and communication skills.

  • At least 5 years of experience in quantity surveying or a similar role.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Experience with cost estimating software and project management tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Conduct detailed cost analysis and provide recommendations for cost control and savings.
  • Manage tendering processes including preparing and issuing tender documents.
  • Evaluate and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
