Job summary

ICDS Group in Ireland is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a major healthcare project in Wexford. This permanent or freelance role offers a hybrid arrangement (3 days on site, 2 days remote) and a key position in commercial management from pre-construction through to completion.

You will prepare budgets and cost reports, manage subcontractor accounts and final accounts, and liaise with the project team to control costs and identify risks.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in a main contractor environment.
• Experience managing commercial aspects of large-scale construction projects.
• Strong understanding of contracts, procurement, cost control and commercial management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a project team.
