Job summary

GPC - Global Professional Consultants in Dublin is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading Tier 2 main contractor working on high-rise residential, pharma and commercial developments across Dublin. You will manage project costs, commercial performance and subcontractor relationships from pre-construction through to completion.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Quantity Surveying or related field, 6+ years in QS roles with main contractor experience, and strong negotiation,

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or related discipline.
• 6+ years experience in a Quantity Surveying role.
• Proven experience working with a main contractor.
• Experience on large-scale projects, ideally residential, pharma, or commercial developments.
• Strong commercial, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage costs, contracts, and project reporting.

Responsibilities

• Managing project costs from procurement through to completion.
• Preparing budgets, valuations, and cost reports.
• Managing subcontractor procurement and accounts.
• Reviewing contracts, variations, and claims.
• Liaising with project teams, clients, and subcontractors.
• Supporting commercial delivery and project performance.

Senior Quantity Surveyor required for a leading Tier 2 Main Contractor delivering major construction projects across Dublin, including high-rise residential and pharmaceutical developments. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior QS to join an established contractor working on complex projects from pre-construction through to completion. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing project costs, commercial performance, and subcontractor relationships.
