Job summary

Global Professional Consultants, Dublin, is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a leading Tier 2 main contractor delivering major Dublin projects, including high-rise residential and pharmaceutical developments.

The successful candidate will manage project costs, commercial performance, and subcontractor relationships from pre-construction through to completion. CPD and career development are on offer for the right professional.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or related discipline.
• 6+ years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role.
• Proven experience working with a main contractor.
• Experience on large-scale projects, ideally residential, pharma, or commercial developments.
• Strong commercial, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage costs, contracts, and project reporting.

Responsibilities

• Managing project costs from procurement through to completion.
• Preparing budgets, valuations, and cost reports.
• Managing subcontractor procurement and accounts.
• Reviewing contracts, variations, and claims.
• Liaising with project teams, clients, and subcontractors.
• Supporting commercial delivery and project performance.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior QS to join an established contractor working on complex projects from pre-construction through to completion. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing project costs, commercial performance, and subcontractor relationships.
