Global Professional Consultants' client, a Tier 1 Main Contractor in Ireland, is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead cost control on large-scale residential projects in Dublin. You will develop budgets, manage procurement schedules, and oversee cashflow across packages.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years' experience, a relevant QS qualification, and strong MS Office skills. This role offers a competitive package with pension, car allowance, and a fuel card.

Qualifications

• 6+ years’ experience as a quantity surveyor with a main contractor or developer.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and cost-control software.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

My client, a well-established Tier 1 Main Contractor in Ireland, is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team for large scale residential projects in Dublin.

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed package and material budgets
• Execute value engineering and options analysis
• Oversee key package cashflow and interim invoices
• Supervise retention for each package
• Conduct re-measurements upon package completion and finalize accounts
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and material procurement schedules
• Establish a procurement schedule for the project
• Conduct regular reviews of works to pinpoint opportunities for cost-saving measures

Requirements:

• 6+ years’ experience working as a quantity surveyor with a main contractor or developer
• Relevant Quantity Surveying qualification
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
