Job summary

Global Professional Consultants' client, a Tier 1 Main Contractor in Ireland, is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead cost control on large-scale residential projects in Dublin. You will develop budgets, manage procurement schedules, and oversee cashflow across packages.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years' experience, a relevant QS qualification, and strong MS Office skills. This role offers a competitive package with pension, car allowance, and a fuel card.

Qualifications

• 6+ years’ experience as a quantity surveyor with a main contractor or developer.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and cost-control software.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed package and material budgets.
• Execute value engineering and options analysis.
• Oversee cashflow and interim invoices for key packages.
• Supervise retention for each package.
• Conduct re-measurements upon package completion and finalize accounts.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and procurement schedules.
• Establish a procurement schedule for the project.
• Review works to identify cost-saving opportunities.
