Job summary

SSA Consulting Group is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a leading Irish main building contractor for a position based in Kildare.

This role will involve the commercial management of a major project, with responsibility for subcontractor management, cost control, valuations, variations and reporting, working closely with the project team to deliver on time and within budget. A strong track record with main contractors is preferred.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• 6+ years of Quantity Surveying experience.
• Experience with main contractor projects.
• Strong subcontractor management, valuations, variations and cost reporting.
• Excellent commercial and communication skills.
• Valid working rights in Ireland/Europe.

SSA is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a leading main building contractor for a position based in Kildare.

About the role:

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a highly regarded contractor and play a key commercial role in the delivery of a major project in Kildare.

You will be responsible for the commercial management of the project, working closely with the wider project team and taking responsibility for subcontractor management, cost control, valuations, variations and reporting.

Position requirements:

• BSc / MSc degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
• 6+ years Quantity Surveying experience
• Previous main contractor experience is preferred
• Strong knowledge of subcontractor management, valuations, variations and cost reporting
• Excellent commercial and communication skills
