GEDON is assisting its client, a well‑established main contractor, in appointing a Senior Project Manager to lead high‑specification life sciences projects in Dublin. You will own projects from preconstruction through to commissioning, qualification and handover, coordinating with commercial, planning, quality and validation teams.

The role requires proven senior leadership, delivery of complex facilities, and a strong focus on GMP environments.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a Senior Project Manager on complex life sciences projects.
• Experience leading site management, engineering and supervisory teams.
• Strong MEP coordination and quality management on regulated facilities.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Dublin region.

Responsibilities

• Manage programme, cost, quality and safety performance across the project

• Coordinate complex MEP and process-support interfaces, including work within or adjacent to live facilities
• Support commissioning, qualification and documentation requirements for GMP environments

• Drive a strong safety, quality and compliance culture on site

WORKING ENVIRONMENT & PROJECTS

You will lead the delivery of high-specification life sciences projects, typically including manufacturing, laboratory, cleanroom and process-support facilities. These projects involve complex MEP services, strict quality and validation requirements, and careful coordination with live operational environments.

Reporting to the Project Director, you will lead site management and engineering teams, working closely with commercial, planning and quality functions as well as client, design and validation teams. The culture is quality-driven, collaborative and focused on getting things right first time.

The role offers ownership of projects from preconstruction through to commissioning, qualification and handover. It is an excellent opportunity to build a senior track record in one of the most technically demanding sectors in Irish construction.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the delivery of pharmaceutical and life sciences projects in the Dublin region from preconstruction through to handover

WHAT YOU NEED

• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager or experienced Project Manager within a main contractor
• A track record of delivering complex, technically demanding projects
• Life sciences, pharmaceutical or GMP experience is highly beneficial but not essential; data centre or other high-tech delivery is also well regarded
• Strong understanding of MEP coordination and quality management on complex facilities
• Excellent leadership, organisational and stakeholder management skills
• A degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline
• Based in, or willing to relocate to, the Dublin region

WHAT YOU'LL GET IN RETURN

This role offers a salary of up to €120,000 alongside a comprehensive package, typically including car allowance, performance bonus, pension and healthcare.
