This top tier Irish main contractor has a strong reputation for delivering major construction projects across Dublin and the wider Leinster region, with a substantial pipeline of work across residential, pharmaceutical and other technically demanding sectors.

The business has experienced project teams across construction, commercial, design and procurement and is continuing to grow its presence in Dublin. For an experienced Contracts Manager, this is a senior position with responsibility for multiple significant projects and direct involvement with senior management.

The Role: Contracts Manager

This Contracts Manager role is based in Dublin, Co Dublin, with responsibility for overseeing multiple large-scale residential and pharmaceutical construction projects across Dublin and Leinster.

You will manage Project Managers, Site Managers and wider project teams, taking overall responsibility for programme delivery, quality, safety and project performance from pre-construction through to completion and handover.

Working closely with the commercial, design and procurement teams, you will ensure projects remain properly resourced, subcontractors are performing and potential programme or delivery issues are dealt with early.

There will also be regular involvement with clients, consultants and senior management, making this a commercially important role within the business.

Must Have Requirements

• Must have previous Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager experience with a main contractor.
• Proven experience required delivering large-scale construction projects in Ireland.
• Must have strong programme management, commercial awareness and experience managing multiple project teams.
• Major residential apartment construction experience is required.
• Strong leadership and client-facing experience is essential

Preferred Experience

• Pharmaceutical or life sciences construction experience is highly desirable.
• Experience managing projects from pre-construction through delivery, commissioning and handover would be beneficial.Previous responsibility for multiple live construction projects across Dublin or Leinster is preferred.

About You

You will be an experienced Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager with a strong main contractor background and a proven record of delivering major building projects in Ireland.

You should have solid experience across large residential apartment developments, with pharmaceutical or life sciences experience particularly beneficial.

Strong programme management, commercial awareness and subcontractor coordination skills are important. You will also need to be comfortable managing experienced project teams while dealing directly with clients, consultants and senior management.

You will be organised, decisive and capable of keeping several projects moving without losing sight of quality, safety, programme or commercial performance.
