CPI Biotech in Little Island, Cork, is hiring a Senior Project Manager (Single Use Bioprocessing Skids) to lead design and manufacturing projects for biotech/pharma clients. The role covers from concept through to GMP validation (IQ/OQ) and final qualification.

We are looking to recruit a Senior Project Manager (Single Use Bioprocessing Skids) to join our expanding team. The position is permanent and is site-based in our Headquarters, in Little Island, Cork. The vacancy comes at a crucial stage in the company’s continued growth; the successful candidate will play a key role in the continued and future growth of the company going forward.
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects involving the design and manufacturing of single-use and other bioprocess equipment used in drug manufacturing for our Global Client base.
You’ll be working on the design and delivery of manufacturing equipment for the biotech and pharmaceutical sector, with the chance to get involved from early concept right through to build, testing, and GMP validation. Typical systems include TFF, Chromatography, Final fill, and mRNA processing skids.
You will be involved across the full project lifecycle, including planning, design, commercial management, equipment build, testing, FAT, and final qualification (IQ/OQ).
Lead and manage projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget
Coordinate with engineering, automation, manufacturing, and validation teams
Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project
Ensure all work meets client URS, GMP requirements, and relevant standards, including CE marking and UL
Manage risks, schedules, and project documentation
Support ongoing product development as new systems are introduced
6–8 years’ experience managing projects involving manufacturing equipment in biotech or pharma
Strong understanding of GMP and validation, particularly IQ/OQ
Engineering degree (mechanical, electrical, process, chemical, or similar)
Experience with single-use systems or bioprocess equipment would be an advantage
Good working knowledge of both mechanical and electrical systems
