Job summary

Elastic is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer for Platform Reliability to design, build, and scale our multi-cloud platform supporting Elastic Cloud Hosted and Serverless. You will lead automation to guarantee reliability, develop tooling, and drive improvements across distributed teams.

You will collaborate with engineers on public cloud and Kubernetes services, champion inclusive communication, and participate in on-call rotations to minimize customer impact.

Qualifications

• Experience driving platform reliability and incident management.
• Background in software engineering collaborating with engineers.
• Experience with public cloud and managed Kubernetes services.
• Experience in distributed/remote teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation initiatives to ensure reliability of global Elastic infrastructure.
• Grow platform infrastructure by developing tooling and automations.
• Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-operational-excellence culture.
• Respond to incidents and manage major incidents with follow-the-sun on-call.
