Job summary

GCS Recruitment is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build and operate a production-grade Kubernetes platform. You will automate infrastructure, develop tooling and contribute to CI/CD and GitOps practices across a cloud-native environment.

The role focuses on reliability, security and observability, with opportunities to explore AI-driven improvements and modern cloud technologies in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Proven IaC and automation experience (Terraform, Ansible).
• Development/scripting in Python or Go.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and support Kubernetes-based platform infrastructure.
• Drive automation across infrastructure using IaC principles.
• Develop tooling with Terraform, Ansible, Python and Go.
• Enhance reliability, scalability, security and performance of the platform.
• Implement observability, monitoring and alerting solutions.
