Job summary

GCS Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Site Reliability Engineer for a hybrid role in Dublin, supporting enterprise cloud platforms used globally. You will focus on cloud infrastructure, systems engineering and platform reliability across multi-region production environments.

The ideal candidate has strong Linux expertise, production-grade Python experience and a track record of automating provisioning, deployment and operational workflows to improve reliability and scalability.

Qualifications

• Experience operating customer-facing or business-critical platforms.
• Proven automation expertise.

We're hiring experienced Site Reliability Engineers to support the evolution of large-scale cloud platforms used globally across critical production environments.

Unlike traditional SRE opportunities focused heavily on Kubernetes, this role places greater emphasis on cloud infrastructure, systems engineering and platform reliability.

Responsibilities

• Engineer highly available cloud infrastructure platforms


• Improve reliability, resilience and operational excellence


• Drive automation across provisioning, deployment and operational workflows


• Develop tools and services using Python and modern scripting technologies
