Job summary

Personio is seeking an experienced software engineer to join our reliability team in a role that shapes platform capabilities across the company. You will design, implement and operate scalable services, tooling and observability to improve uptime and efficiency.

The position emphasizes collaboration with product and engineering teams to raise reliability standards. You will bring strong backend experience in SaaS deployments, a track record of distributed systems design, and hands-on AI-enabled

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of experience in SaaS software development, building and shipping production systems in a distributed-systems context.

Responsibilities

Design and build platforms and automated tooling to scale infrastructure and embed reliability practices.
Engage in the full service lifecycle from design to deployment, operation and continuous improvement.
Prepare services for production with system design reviews, shared frameworks and capacity planning.
