Job summary

Elastic, the Search AI Company, is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to help design, build, and scale the multi-cloud platform for hosting Elastic Cloud Hosted and Serverless. You will develop automation, tooling and systems to support reliable services while collaborating across distributed teams to ensure top-tier customer experience.

Qualifications

Experience focusing on platform reliability and customer-first operational problem solving from an SRE perspective.
Background in software engineering to collaborate with engineers to deliver solutions; experience with public cloud and managed Kubernetes is advantageous.
Experience working in distributed teams or remote environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

Taking an engineering approach to lead technical initiatives for automating system engineering and ensuring global infrastructure reliability.
Grow platform infrastructure by developing and maintaining software, tooling and automation to meet scaling needs.
Champion collaboration, operational excellence, and uplifting others across teams in a distributed environment.
Respond to and prevent customer impact from major incidents; participate in follow-the-sun on-call rotation.
