Job summary

A+F Recruitment is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to join a large multi-entity organisation in Ireland. You will own fortnightly and monthly payrolls, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery across several entities, while partnering with the Payroll Manager to optimise processes.

The role focuses on Irish payroll compliance, Revenue requirements, data integrity, and driving automation and system improvements within the payroll function.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' payroll experience.
• IPASS qualification required.
• Strong knowledge of Irish payroll and Revenue requirements; experience with multiple payrolls across entities.
• Strong payroll reconciliation and controls experience.
• Good Excel and systems skills.
• Interest in payroll technology, automation and process improvement.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet competing deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Processing and overseeing fortnightly and monthly payrolls across multiple entities.
• Reviewing payroll data, calculations, reconciliations and reports.
• Ensuring compliance with Irish payroll legislation.
• Managing pensions, medical insurance, BIK and other payroll deductions.
• Preparing payroll journals, accruals and month-end reconciliations.

I'm currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to join an established payroll team within a large, multi-entity organisation.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll professional who enjoys taking ownership of complex payrolls while also getting involved in systems, automation and process improvement.

Working closely with the Payroll Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of fortnightly and monthly payrolls across multiple legal entities.
