Storm-Recruitment is seeking a Payroll Specialist for Dublin South to manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payments.

You will work closely with HR, Finance, and external providers to maintain payroll accuracy, support statutory compliance, and deliver a smooth payroll experience for employees.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of payroll experience, ideally in Ireland.
  • Strong understanding of Irish payroll legislation and Revenue requirements.
  • Experience using payroll software and HR systems.
  • Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
  • IPASS qualification, or working towards certification.

Responsibilities

  • Process weekly and monthly payrolls accurately and on time.
  • Maintain employee payroll records (starters, leavers, changes, benefits, deductions, pension).
  • Ensure compliance with Irish payroll legislation and Revenue requirements.
  • Reconcile payroll reports and statutory payments.
  • Process maternity, paternity, adoptive, parental and sick leave payments where applicable.
  • Support year-end payroll activities and reporting requirements.
  • Respond to employee payroll queries professionally and timely.
  • Liaise with HR, Finance, pension providers, and external payroll vendors.
  • Support payroll audits, compliance reviews, and process improvements.

Salary: EUR40000 - EUR45000 per annum

About the Role

Our client, a well-established multinational organisation, is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join their team. This role will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payment across the business.

Working closely with HR, Finance, and external providers, you will play a key role in maintaining payroll accuracy, supporting statutory compliance, and delivering a smooth payroll experience for employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process weekly and monthly payrolls accurately and on time.
  • Maintain employee payroll records, including starters, leavers, salary changes, benefits, deductions, and pension contributions.
  • Ensure compliance with Irish payroll legislation, Revenue requirements, and employment regulations.
  • Reconcile payroll reports, payroll control accounts, and statutory payments.
  • Process maternity, paternity, adoptive, parental, sick leave, and other statutory payments where applicable.
  • Support year-end payroll activities and reporting requirements.
  • Respond to employee payroll queries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Liaise with HR, Finance, pension providers, and external payroll vendors as required.
  • Support payroll audits, compliance reviews, and process improvements.
Experience Required
  • Minimum 3 years' payroll experience, ideally within Ireland.
  • Strong understanding of Irish payroll legislation and Revenue requirements.
  • Experience using payroll software and HR systems.
  • Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
  • IPASS qualification, or working towards certification.
  • Experience in multi-site or multi-jurisdiction payroll environments.
  • Experience supporting payroll projects, system implementations, or process improvements.
