Job summary

A+F Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to join a large, multi-entity organisation in Ireland. You will own the delivery of fortnightly and monthly payrolls across multiple legal entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness while collaborating with HR, Finance and IT systems.

You will work closely with the Payroll Manager to drive process improvements, automation and stronger controls, supporting payroll system upgrades and reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ payroll experience.
• Strong knowledge of Irish payroll and Revenue requirements.
• Experience working with multiple payrolls and entities.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Processing and overseeing fortnightly and monthly payrolls
• Reviewing payroll data, calculations, reconciliations and reports
• Ensuring compliance with Irish payroll legislation and Revenue requirements
• Managing pensions, medical insurance, BIK and other payroll deductions
• Preparing payroll journals, accruals and month-end reconciliations
• Supporting and guiding other members of the payroll team
• Identifying payroll risks and strengthening controls
• Supporting payroll system upgrades, testing and implementation
• Improving integration between Payroll, HR and Time & Attendance systems
• Identifying opportunities to automate manual processes and improve efficiency
