Job summary

PE Global is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join a global function in Ireland. You will deliver payroll via HCM and payroll systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across possibly multiple payrolls.

Key duties include process improvements, statutory reporting, stakeholder liaison, and supporting payroll projects. Strong Excel and payroll software experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands‑on payroll experience.
• Strong knowledge of insurance and taxation schemes.
• Process improvement mindset with automation awareness.
• Experience in a large organization.
• Proficiency with payroll software such as ADP or Workday.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to build relationships with stakeholders and employees.

Responsibilities

• Identify and deliver process improvements, including automation when possible.
• Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements.
• Liaise with senior managers on HR policy impacts for payroll.
• Coordinate workloads to handle peak processing periods.
• Maintain compliance with processes and legislation to minimise losses.
• Maintain payroll accuracy through effective controls and KPIs.
• Provide support and input on payroll related projects.
• Assist audits and finance queries as needed.
• Maintain and update payroll policies, procedures and knowledge articles.
• Minimise losses by timely processing of leavers and payments.
