Morgan McKinley is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll processing for a varied client portfolio in Ireland. You will ensure payroll accuracy, advise clients on payroll regulations, and support junior team members in a fast-paced setting.

Role involves handling weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payroll cycles, along with onboarding/offboarding, tax certificates, pensions, and BIk processing. The position emphasizes accuracy, client service, and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of payroll experience.
• Deep understanding of local payroll legislation and deductions.
• Proficiency in standard payroll software and advanced Excel.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Clear verbal and written communication; client relationship experience.
• Payroll certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Own and process weekly, Fortnightly, and monthly payrolls for assigned clients.
• Serve as primary contact for client queries and payroll guidance.
• Manage onboarding/offboarding, tax certificates, pensions, and BIk processing.
• Prepare and reconcile tax filings and payment files for compliance.
• Maintain client records and optimize internal workflows.
• Mentor junior staff and collaborate with management on process enhancements.
