Job summary

Okta in Dublin is seeking a Senior Manager, Solution Engineering to lead our IMETA Solution Engineering team. You will manage multiple engineers across regions, coach for career growth, and partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, HR, Finance and Operations.

The role requires hands‑on technical leadership and strategic collaboration. The ideal candidate has 3+ years leading pre‑sales teams, experience in Middle East or Africa markets, and proficiency with MEDDICC.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience managing high performing pre‑sales teams.
• Experience managing Middle East and/or African markets.
• Recruiting in a high growth environment.
• Familiarity with the MEDDICC sales qualification framework.
• In a pre‑sales / Solution Engineering role that blends technical detail and value selling.
• Building and presenting technical demonstrations for customers and technical discussions.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of multiple Solution Engineers across multiple regions.
• 40% travel expected.
• Primary Location in Dublin.
• Provide coaching and development to your team.
• Build effective relationships with cross functional leaders such as Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and more.
• Partner with HR, Finance and Operations for workforce planning and budget alignment.
• Partner with Recruitment to build hiring plans and navigate offers.
• Collaborate with Manager peers on best practice and market trends to support scaling.
• Remain hands on to support your team with technical questions.
• Act as an ambassador for your team with Product functions to deliver feedback.
