Job summary

nineDots.io in Dublin is seeking a Solutions Engineering Lead to join our growing team. This hands-on leadership role combines architecture design with mentorship and client-facing delivery.

You will partner with product and engineering teams in Sydney, own the technical delivery from discovery to production, and guide enterprise integrations using APIs, OAuth/OIDC, and modern authentication patterns.

Qualifications

• Experience in Solutions Engineering, Solution Architecture or Technical Consulting.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise integrations and authentication technologies such as OAuth/OIDC.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Solutions Engineers and Platform Configurators.
• Design scalable solution architectures for enterprise customers.
• Own the technical delivery of platform implementations from discovery to production.
• Collaborate with client engineering teams to design integrations using APIs, OAuth/OIDC and modern authentication patterns.
• Lead technical workshops, discovery sessions and architecture reviews.
• Review integration designs and guide your team through delivery challenges.
• Partner with Product and Engineering teams in Sydney to influence best practices and future platform capabilities.
• Act as the technical escalation point for complex client issues and keep projects on track.

We're looking for a Solutions Engineering Lead to join our growing Dublin team.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you'll work with some of Europe's leading financial institutions, designing solution architectures, leading enterprise integrations and mentoring a team of talented engineers.

You'll be equally comfortable running an architecture workshop with a client as you are reviewing integration patterns, solving technical challenges and collaborating with our Engineering team in Sydney.

What you'll be doing

• Lead and mentor a team of Solutions Engineers and Platform Configurators.
• Design scalable solution architectures for enterprise customers.
• Own the technical delivery of platform implementations, from discovery through to production.
• Work directly with client engineering teams to design integrations using APIs, OAuth/OIDC and modern authentication patterns.
• Lead technical workshops, discovery sessions and architecture reviews.

What you\'ll bring

• Experience in Solutions Engineering, Solution Architecture, Customer Engineering or Technical Consulting.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise integrations, REST APIs and authentication technologies such as OAuth and OpenID Connect (OIDC).
• Hands-on technical experience with platform configuration, JSON, HTML or Python. Familiarity with .NET or React would be beneficial.
• Confidence leading technical conversations with architects, engineering teams and senior stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring or leading technical teams.
• Financial services or other regulated industry experience is a bonus.

This isn\'t a traditional Engineering Manager role. You\'ll remain hands-on, influence technical direction, work directly with enterprise clients and help build a high-performing Solutions Engineering team delivering innovative technology to some of Europe\'s leading financial institutions.
