Job summary

Stack and Co in South County Dublin is hiring a Senior IT Engineer (Level 2) for an established MSP. The role is hands-on, supporting multiple SME clients while contributing to migrations, upgrades, onboarding and project work. Irish MSP experience is strongly preferred, with flexibility to move from internal IT to MSP environments.

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently.
• Good customer-facing communication and ticket ownership.
• Relevant Microsoft, CompTIA or similar certifications are beneficial, but practical technical experience is more important.

Job description

We’re hiring a Senior IT Engineer (Level 2) for an established MSP in South County Dublin.

This is a hands‑on support role working across multiple SME client environments, taking ownership of technical issues while also contributing to migrations, upgrades, onboarding and project work.

Irish MSP experience is strongly preferred.

We will also consider a strong Senior Level 2 Technical Support Engineer from an internal IT department if you have proven experience across the core Microsoft technologies and are confident moving from one internal environment into a fast‑paced, multi‑client MSP role.

Technical environment

• Microsoft 365 – Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams
• Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager
• Active Directory and hybrid environments
• Windows desktop and Windows Server
• Networking, firewalls and VPNs
• Migrations, upgrades and client onboarding

What we’re looking for

• Strong hands‑on Level 2 IT support experience
• Irish MSP experience supporting multiple clients – strongly preferred

For candidates coming from internal IT, you will need to demonstrate the technical depth and adaptability to support different customers, technologies and priorities rather than one company environment.

Relevant Microsoft, CompTIA or similar certifications are beneficial, but practical technical experience is more important.

Location

This role is **5 days per week onsite in South County Dublin**.

You must already be living within a realistic daily commute of the office. The location will particularly suit someone based around Blackrock, Dun Laoghaire, Deansgrange, Stillorgan, Killiney, Dalkey, Cabinteely or the surrounding South Dublin area.

Occasional client‑site visits will also be required.
