Job summary

Stack and Co is seeking a Senior Technical Support Engineer Level 2 for Midlands/Midlands region in Ireland. The role focuses on hands-on, customer-facing support across MS cloud and on-prem environments for SME clients, handling escalations from Level 1 and driving improvements.

Ideal candidates will have MSP experience, strong MS365/AD expertise, Intune, Windows 11/Server skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Proven MSP experience required.
• Hands-on Level 2 Technical Support Engineer experience.
• Microsoft 365 Administration experience.
• Active Directory & Group Policy experience.
• Intune / Endpoint Manager experience.
• Windows 11 and Windows Server administration.
• Networking fundamentals including firewalls and VPNs.
• Strong troubleshooting and independent working abilities.
• Comfort communicating with end-users and client stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Level 2 escalation point for technical issues across multiple client environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, and Windows Server.
• Administer and support Microsoft 365 tenants (Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams).
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and core Windows services.
• Deploy and manage devices using Intune / Endpoint Manager.
• Support Windows 11 desktop and laptop environments.
• Assist with Azure (Azure AD, Entra ID, VMs, backups, basic networking).
• Support and troubleshoot firewalls, VPNs, and network connectivity issues.
• Work with ticketing systems, ensuring documentation and SLA adherence.
• Identify recurring issues and contribute to process and documentation improvements.
• Occasionally assist with project work (migrations, upgrades, onboarding new clients).
