Zusammenfassung

AECOM seeks an experienced HV Substation Design Engineer to lead design delivery on major energy infrastructure projects. You will develop HV substation layouts, specify equipment, and guide FEED and detailed design phases in collaboration with clients and partners.

You will apply expertise across multiple projects, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to tendering and commissioning activities, with a flexible hybrid working model and strong focus on safety and quality.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in consultancy, contractor or utility within energy sector.
• FEED designer, detailed design, or owner's engineer experience.
• Experience designing HV infrastructure at concept and FEED stages.
• Understanding of electrical AC HV Plant infrastructure (AIS/GIS).
• Ability to work across multiple projects and manage budgets/timelines.
• Full driving licence.

Aufgaben

• Produce primary plant layouts for HV substations.
• Lead engineering design input to major infrastructure projects.
• Undertake project development/pre-construction activities and cable route optimization.
• Develop equipment specifications for HV plant and related equipment.
• Develop tender specifications and evaluate tenders.
• Provide design assurance of tender documentation and during supplier meetings.
• Review supplier designs at construction and support commissioning.
• Mentor junior team members and partner with clients.
