Job summary

HR Search is partnering with a leading organisation in the healthcare and residential care sector to appoint an experienced HR Generalist to join their HR team. This is a broad, hands-on role with responsibility across the full employee lifecycle.

You’ll report to the HR Manager and act as a key HR contact for your assigned location, providing practical support across employee relations, recruitment, HR administration, reporting, compliance and training.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical HR support across the full employee lifecycle.

• Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes.
• Manage HR administration and lifecycle processes.
• Produce HR reporting and workforce data.
• Support compliance and audit readiness.
• Lead training and people initiatives.
• Contribute to wider HR projects and process improvement.
• Travel between locations and support recruitment events as required.

About the Role

Reporting to the HR Manager, you’ll act as a key HR contact for your assigned location, providing practical support across:

• Employee relations, including disciplinary, grievance, attendance and conduct matters
• Recruitment and onboarding
• HR administration and employee lifecycle processes
• HR reporting and workforce data
• Compliance and audit readiness
• Training and people initiatives
• Wider HR projects and process improvement

You’ll work closely with operational managers and the wider HR team, providing practical HR guidance and helping to ensure policies and employment practices are applied consistently.

The role will also involve supporting recruitment events and occasional travel between locations, with some travel elsewhere in Ireland and the EU as required.

We’re looking for a strong HR Generalist who is comfortable working in a busy, multi-site environment and enjoys partnering closely with managers and employees.

You’ll ideally have:

• A practical, professional and solutions-focused approach

Experience within healthcare, residential care or another highly regulated environment would be an advantage.
