Job summary

Affidea UK & Ireland is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to join our Head Office in Dublin 12. The role focuses on employee relations, organisational development and HR operations, with travel across clinic locations.

Requirements: 4+ years as an HR Generalist, CIPD Level 5, and thorough knowledge of employment law. You will drive onboarding, training management, payroll support and HR systems administration.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in HR or a related field.
  • CIPD Level 5 Qualification.
  • 4+ years’ experience working as an HR Generalist or similar.
  • Demonstrable experience with grievance and disciplinary processes.
  • Thorough knowledge of employer/employee legislation.
  • Full understanding of all HR function best practices.
  • Excellent people management skills.
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, and investigation processes.
  • Advise managers on legal requirements and best practices related to disciplinary procedures and workplace policies.
  • Conduct investigations into employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and workplace disputes.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and best HR practices.
  • Develop and implement strategies to create a positive work culture and enhance employer-employee relationships.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns, offering solutions and advice on workplace matters.
  • Facilitate transparent and effective communication between employees and management.
  • Conduct inductions for new hires for their assigned business units.
  • Audit and maintain the employees training matrix to JCI requirements.
  • Ensure all staff training records and clinical training are current and correctly filed.
  • Coordinate the process for individual training requests from employees.
  • Work with the recruitment team in recruitment campaigns when needed.
  • Assist with systems administration for the company’s time management system (Softworks).
  • Maintain all employee files in line with the appropriate policies.
  • Enhance onboarding processes to ensure a positive and structured employee experience.
  • Manage offboarding processes, including exit interviews and insights analysis to inform retention strategies.
  • Continuously improve the employee lifecycle journey.
  • Review and validate payroll inputs including new hires, leavers, salary changes, bonuses, and deductions.
  • Ensure data integrity between HR systems and payroll systems.
  • Support resolution of payroll queries, discrepancies, and employee queries in a timely manner.
  • Support audits and reporting requirements related to payroll and employee data.

Senior HR Generalist

We are now seeking an Senior HR Generalist to join our team in our Head Office in Dublin 12. The successful candidate will bring strong expertise in employee relations, organisational development, and HR operations, with the ability to influence stakeholders and lead key HR initiatives. Regular travel across clinic locations will be required.

Employee Relations & Conflict Resolution
