Primtac Personnel LTD in Charleville, Co Cork, is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to deliver a professional, responsive HR service across the full employee lifecycle.

This role requires 2+ years’ experience in HR, with strong knowledge of Irish employment law, GDPR, recruitment, onboarding, payroll support and employee engagement. You’ll work with managers to maintain best-practice processes and a positive workplace culture, with on-site parking and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Third-level qualification in HR, Business, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in an HR Generalist, HR Officer, HR Coordinator, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of Irish employment law, GDPR, and HR best practice.
• Practical experience across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, absence management, and HR administration.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day HR administration across the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, contracts, inductions, and employee departures.
• Provide advice and support to managers and employees on employee relations, attendance, performance, disciplinary, and grievance matters.
• Support recruitment processes, including pre-employment checks and work permit administration where required.
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR systems are up to date.
• Prepare regular HR reports covering absence, turnover, annual leave, and working time.
• Support payroll administration and coordinate with Payroll and Finance to resolve pay-related queries.
• Ensure HR processes comply with Irish employment legislation, GDPR, and company policies.
• Assist with employee engagement initiatives, HR projects, graduate recruitment, and audits.
• Provide a professional and confidential HR service to employees and management.
