Job summary

Harmonics Recruitment (Our client in Dublin) seeks an HR Generalist to support employees and drive HR processes. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will play a central role in the TSP Team by handling onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and HR reporting.

Ideal candidates hold a business-related degree (HR preferred) and CIPD qualification. Proficiency in Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook and knowledge of Irish employment law are essential.

Qualifications

  • Degree in a business-related subject (preferably HR).
  • Ideally CIPD qualified.
  • Strong IT skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Experience with time and attendance systems is a plus.
  • Knowledge of current Irish employment legislation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage employee relations and respond to employee queries daily.
  • Coordinate Recruitment and Selection activities.
  • Administer employee benefits (pensions, medical insurance).
  • Prepare monthly HR reports for departments.
  • Support onboarding processes and visa/relocation for international staff.
  • Develop and update HR policies and company handbook.
  • Manage personnel files and onboarding logistics.
  • Support payroll preparation with Finance.
  • Oversee internal communications and CSR activities.
  • Handle ad hoc HR duties and projects.

Job description

Our client, a leader in the aviation sector, is seeking an HR Generalist to join their team in Dublin. Reporting to the HR Manager, this role will play a central part in supporting employees and driving HR processes across the business.

The HR Generalist will be a key member of the TSP Team and play a central function in the company.

Responsibilities Include (but not limited to) the following:
  • Employee Relations dealing with employee requests and queries on a daily basis.
  • Recruitment and Selection
  • Responsibility for Employee Benefits Administration, such as; Pension, Medical Insurance
  • Preparing monthly HR Reports for various departments.
  • Support in developing on boarding processes incl. ZUP Process
  • Introduce and integrate new staff members at TSP DUB and SNN. Set up new employees on various systems prior to start date and prepare for arrival on-site.
  • Implementing and updating Company Policies and Company Handbook
  • Management of Personnel Files
  • Management of on boarding and relocation of international employees incl. visa etc.
  • Administration and updating of internal training records
  • Record and administrate working time incl. absence management
  • Support in providing employee appraisals
  • Payroll Preparation in conjunction with Finance dept.
  • Develop and manage public relation. Plan and manage events
  • Coordinate corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities
  • Handle internal communications
  • Ad hoc human resources duties and projects.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
  • Degree in a business related subject, preferably human resources related discipline.
  • Ideally CIPD qualified
  • Excellent PC Skills Word, Excel, Power Point and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Previous experience of maintaining a time and attendance system is a distinct advantage.
  • Knowledgeable on current Irish employment legislation.
  • Strong inter-personal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Problem solving skills ability to think outside the box to achieve the best solution
  • Work well both independently and as part of a team
  • Friendly and approachable and recognises the importance of confidentiality.
  • Flexible attitude with an ability to multitask.
