Job summary

Dell Technologies in Ireland is seeking a German-speaking Technical Support Engineer for the Elastic Cloud Storage (ECS) team. You will deliver front-line remote support, diagnose complex IT issues across enterprise environments, and collaborate with European customers and senior advisors within the Dell Global Service Desk.

You will resolve problems through advanced troubleshooting, document solutions, mentor others, and contribute to knowledge bases while maintaining high customer satisfaction

Qualifications

University education or Microsoft certifications with 2+ years of OS and system administration experience.
Strong knowledge of networking, file-serving protocols, LDAP/NIS/ADS, and packet capture.
Fluency in German and English with excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Provide front-line remote technical support and diagnose complex IT issues for enterprise environments.
Communicate clearly with customers and document case progress with stakeholders.
Create knowledge articles and mentor teammates; contribute to self-service resources.
Develop subject matter expertise and train peers through presentations and sessions.
Support a 24x7x365 operation with shift work, weekends, and on-call duties.
