Job summary

Morgan McKinley in Dublin is seeking an experienced Finance Controller to oversee financial management, reporting and governance for the Irish business. You will lead cash flow, P&L analysis and regulatory reporting while partnering with senior leaders to drive strategic decisions.

The role emphasizes robust internal controls, engagement with auditors and regulators, and continuous improvements across processes and systems within a senior financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA with 5+ PQE in financial services.
• Proven senior-level experience in financial management, reporting and control.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and regulatory reporting experience.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the financial management, control and reporting activities of the Irish business.
• Lead the preparation, review and delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting, management accounts and annual financial statements.
• Own the financial close and reporting process, ensuring robust controls and high-quality financial information.
• Conduct regular reviews of P&L performance with business leaders, providing insightful analysis and challenge to support improved performance.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to support development and implementation of business strategy through robust financial analysis and financial control.
• Lead accounting, budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Develop and maintain an effective financial control framework with policies, procedures and governance.
• Oversee financial regulatory reporting requirements, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
