Job summary

Payoneer in Dublin or London is seeking a Regulatory Counsel, Europe to provide legal advice on significant regulatory matters across Ireland, the United Kingdom and Europe. The role reports to the Global Regulatory Counsel in New York City and is based in Dublin or London.

The successful candidate will support Ireland and UK teams, monitor evolving regulations, and work with regulators and outside counsel to advance Payoneer’s regulatory strategy, with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• 6-7 years of legal experience in financial services
• Experience advising payments industry and electronic money institutions
• Regulators experience is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Providing legal advice to assist Payoneer in evaluation and management of significant regulatory matters in Europe
• Supporting Ireland and UK management, compliance, and finance teams with regulator relationships
• Researching and analyzing evolving regulations across markets and advising on impact
• Liaising with outside counsel in the region
• Supporting business, marketing and other teams in development of new services
