Job summary

Payward Europe Solutions Ltd, the EU arm behind Kraken, is hiring a Head of Compliance (PCF-12) to lead the regulatory compliance framework across PESL and its EU activities from Ireland. You will drive automation to scale the program, manage relationships with the Central Bank of Ireland and other regulators, and partner with CCO, CEO, and product teams to align risk and business objectives.

Qualifications

• Significant senior compliance experience in a regulated crypto or payments business.
• Proven ability to deploy automation to scale regulatory programs.
• Strong track record managing regulatory relationships with authorities.
• Experience implementing EU regulation including MiCA and AML rules.
• Strategic thinker with leadership across international teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead PESL's ongoing regulatory compliance framework.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Irish regulators and the CBI.
• Oversee implementation of new regulatory requirements (AMLR, MiCA).
• Collaborate with CCO, CEO and product teams to align risk management.
• Drive automation to improve efficiency and scale.
• Manage a small compliance team and report to the board.
• Provide training and advisory support to the PESL Board.
