Stripe’s legal team seeks an Employment Counsel to advise the People team on employment law across Europe, the Middle East and Africa and proactively manage related risks. Minimum 4+ years of specialist employment law experience and qualification to practice in Ireland or England and Wales; you’ll partner with cross-functional teams and draft and negotiate employment agreements.

Office-based with in‑office attendance expectations; salary range €120,000–€180,000, with equity and health benefits;

Qualifications

• 4+ years of specialist, post-qualification employment law experience
• Qualified to practice law in Ireland or England and Wales
• Ability to analyse employment law matters of varying complexity with sound judgment
• Excellent written and verbal communication, discretion and professionalism
• Strong organisational and project-management skills for multiple workstreams

Responsabilités

• Partner with People team to provide subject-matter expertise on employment issues across EMEA
• Proactively review employment policies for compliance and best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support employment compliance
• Draft and negotiate employment-related agreements, including offers, contractor and vendor agreements
• Handle pre-litigation and litigation matters
• Monitor developments in employment, AI, and data protection law
