Job summary

Abbott is seeking a (Senior) Field Technical Engineer for the Electrophysiology (EP) team in Ireland, primarily ROI and Northern Ireland. The role will support the EP business in the Dublin area, joining the Region North EP team to provide clinical support and expert technical guidance.

Responsibilities include clinical consultation, ongoing product knowledge, and technical support to the salesforce. Travel up to 75% and autonomous work are required.

Qualifications

• BSc in a science-related degree.
• Significant electrophysiology experience in clinical or industry.
• 3D mapping experience would be a plus.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
• Willingness to travel 75% and work autonomously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert clinical consultation, teaching and support on EP products.
• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of therapies and technologies in EP.
• Provide technical support to the EP salesforce.
• Conduct product presentations and stand duties at exhibitions; respond to technical questions.
