Job summary

Re:work is hiring a Senior Employee Relations Consultant - Manager in Ireland. This senior role manages a portfolio of clients, leads investigations and hearings, and provides expert HR advice across organisations in various sectors.

You will chair hearings, draft final reports, and steer projects from inception to delivery, while developing client relationships and identifying opportunities to expand services. Travel is expected, and hybrid working is offered.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified, ideally with an HR focus.
• 5+ years' HR or employment law experience.
• Experience leading workplace investigations from terms of reference to final report.
• In-depth knowledge of HR practice and employment law in Ireland.
• Full driving licence with a clean record, and use of a car, as travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex grievance, bullying, harassment and dignity at work investigations, including multi-party cases, and chair appeals and disciplinary hearings through to an outcome.
• Advising clients on HR issues and their legal obligations at every stage of employment.
• Working through complex employee relations cases with clients and helping them settle on the right policy and approach.
• Preparing and checking the paperwork that carries an employee relations case through to resolution.
• Running consultancy projects to the scope, cost and timings agreed with the client.
• Designing and running HR training sessions for leadership teams, line managers and staff.
• Keeping clients informed about progress, risks and results, and flagging scope changes early.
• Identifying where a client needs more support and putting together proposals to meet it.
• Passing client feedback to colleagues and suggesting improvements to the service.
• Recording time and advice accurately for client billing and records.
